After that, in the sixth week, all who live in it will be blinded, and their hearts will godlessly forsake wisdom. In it the Man [Jesus] will ascend; and at its close the house of dominion [Herod’s temple] will be burnt with fire, and the whole race of the chosen root [Israel] will be dispersed. Enoch 93:8
In the first and second centuries BC the nation of Israel fell into apostasy. The Zadok priests who kept the ways of God were hunted down and executed. Usurpers rose up to take their place. These Pharisees and Sadducees changed the ancient doctrines handed down by the Patriarchs and by Moses himself. Then the Messiah came and fulfilled the prophecies about his birth, death, and resurrection.
Jesus' ascension was in 3957 AM (AD 32). The Temple was burnt in 3995 AM (AD 70), and the Roman dispersion of Israel occurred in 4057 AM (AD 132), after the rebellion led by Simon bar Kokhba. This was in the second Jubilee of the fifth century of the sixth week.
