    The Zadok Calendar
    The top section of the center circle is the Zadok, or Dead Sea Scroll, calendar. The top line displays the year AM. AM is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “anno mundi” which means from the “year of the world.” This is the calculated date from the first week of Creation. This is followed by the Zadok month and day. The third line is the Jubilee date.

    The Jubilee dating system is read year, Shemitah, Jubilee, Onah, and Age. They are displayed here as Y: S: J: O: A:. The first day of Creation would be read as “the first day of the first month, of the first year, of the first Shemitah, of the first Jubilee, of the first Onah, of the first Age.

    The Gregorian Calendar
    The bottom section of the center circle is the Gregorian calendar. The weekday, hour, and minute are displayed in the first row. These are based in IST, Israeli Standard Time. IST is eight hours later than CST, Central Standard Time. The second row displays the Gregorian month and day. The third row displays the Gregorian year, AD. The Gregorian year dates from a calculated date for the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord. AD is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “anno domini,” which means from the “year of our Lord.”
